Mission

Jesus gives us clear instructions on what it means to live as a faithful community of followers.  In Matthew 25 he calls his church to serve Him by serving the least of these – the poor, the naked, the homeless, the sick, the imprisoned, the hungry, the naked.

At Light & Life we believe that regular service to the widows and orphans, to aliens and strangers, the poor and the marginalized, and to the care of creation is absolutely essential to Christian discipleship.  In a world of such great injustice God’s people are called to stand as an alternative community and way of life by being the servants of all.

As a congregation we are actively involved in a variety of service and outreach.  We encourage each of our small groups to pray and discern where the Holy Spirit would have them serve.  Using the spiritual gifts, abilities, and resources God has given we are able to be for the world the body of Christ redeemed by his blood.
