Life is about who you know. The Apostle Paul said that he counts all things rubbish compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Jesus Christ. Neither Paul nor Jesus ever imagined that life in the kingdom of God could be lived alone apart from the body of Christ.
Our small groups are designed with one goal in mind: to see Christ formed in the members of this body. Each group meets regularly to provide care for their members, which includes prayer, spiritual guidance, encouragement, accountability, fun, and knowledge of God’s word. Some groups do this through a shared experience – like service, book discussions, cooking, etc. – while other groups are topic based – Bible study, sermon study, life circumstances/stages, etc.
The purpose is to live life with each other and invite others into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and with God’s people, the church.
