A Free Methodist Church and School
Tim and Jervaun Trier were appointed as missionaries to Ethiopia in October 2008. They are learning the Amharic language while building incarnational relationships with Ethiopians. They are working alongside established Free Methodist Ethiopian leaders to encourage integrity and growth in church development, as well as host teams for specialized projects. Tim has served as the U.S. Director of Development for Empowering Lives International (ELI), a ministry in East Africa. As he and Jervaun traveled in Kenya and Sudan for ELI, their desire to help the poor and oppressed in Africa was confirmed. Their expected departure date for the field is July 2009.
